Yorkshire Pudding Boat Race
This is of the unusual sailing boat regattas held in the United Kingdom. It involves world-renowned chefs baking gigantic Yorkshire pudding of flour, water and eggs and sailing them down a river.
The practice began in the early 90s and has been practised ever since. Boats participating in the event are coated with varnish to prevent them from getting wet, and there is space for a member of the racing team.
Three Peaks Yacht Race
Regarded as one of the toughest races in the UK, the Three Peaks brings together four or five-member teams to race for charity. Each team must produce two members to scale England, Wales, and Scotland’s highest mountains as part of the competition.
